Our Approach
Stabilisation Stage
Ensuring I am safe and stable
Reflection Stage
Recognising what I want to change, what I want to learn and what I want to prevent happening again
Assessment & Formulation Stage
Exploring how I became me through my lived experiences and how this makes me think, feel and behave
Intervention Stage
Learning skills to make the changes to support me to reach my goals
The Ashurst Mastery Model
As a team we operate under the validated and accredited Ashurst Mastery Model which promotes conscious competence and continuous improvement in all staff members enabling them to design and develop individualised and personalised support to children.
The Ashurst Mastery Model (AMM) is a person-centred, strength based, staged approach to care, which has trauma informed practice successfully embedded. Thereby promoting children and young people’s assets, reducing barriers and preventing harm and or retraumatisation for the children and young people whom we serve.
The staged model provides stable and structured care consistent with a range of needs on a continuum to meet service demands.
